US to take control of Venezuela's 65 billion barrels of crude reserves as Trump announces 'biggest oil deal'

President Donald Trump said on Friday (local time) that the United States (US) has entered the "biggest oil deal" in the history of the world with Venezuela under which Washington will take control of 65 billion barrels of the Caracas' oil reserves. The development comes months after Venezuela's former President Nicolas Maduro's government was toppled by the American forces.
