In the latest development in the Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement, Hamas-led militants on Thursday freed eight hostages with Israel expected to release another 110 Palestinian prisoners. The release witnessed a halt as a chaotic scene unfolded in which a crowd of Palestinians surrounded and jeered at hostages as they were turned over to the Red Cross. Earlier in the day, Hamas released Israeli soldier Agam Berger, 20, who was handed over the Red Cross after parading her in front of a crowd in northern Gaza.
