UK records highest ever daily number of coronavirus cases amid Omicron scare

United Kingdom (UK) has recorded the highest-ever daily number of coronavirus cases 78,610 since the beginning of the pandemic, AFP reported on Wednesday. A British health official said that there may be a rise in the number of cases in the next few days.
