Trump urges US citizens to practice social distancing as country toll crosses 9,500-mark

The United States has so far conducted 1.6 million coronavirus tests and has urged countrymen to stay at home to maintain social distancing, President Donald Trump has said. The death toll due to the deadly COVID-19 infection has approached the 10,000 mark in US.  "The US has so far conducted 1.6 million tests, more than any other country so far. Major disaster declaration has been notified for almost the entire country and more than 95 per cent of the US' 330 million population are under stay-at-home order," Trump said during a press briefing at the White House on Sunday.
